Psalm 121 says, “My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
Reading your Bible changes your perspective.
Prayer changes your perspective.
Reading your Bible reminds your that there is a God who used David to defeat Goliath.
Prayer reminds you that you serve that same God.
Do you have a giant in your life today? Pray. Talk to God about the giant you see. You’ll begin to see how God sees that giant. You’ll begin to see God’s perspective in your life, in your troubles and in your difficult problems. There is no giant that is greater than the help of our God. There is no problem that stumps His ability to help. We often ask for God to help when we feel helpless or that we’ve done all that we can do. What if we asked for His perspective at the onset and saw the situation through faith, through love, through forgiveness? It would change our lives!
Pray for God’s perspective. Read God’s words to us…His Bible. Believe God is who He says He is and your perspective will begin to allow the possibility of the impossible, the help for hopeless situations and the defeat of those giants that have been flaunting their size, hoping against hope that you won’t recognize that you’ve got the God of the universe on your side.
My prayer is that we would be a people that knows where our help comes from and that we would ask Him boldly & often.
